These are digital or acrylic paintings of your pet. I can also do pet portraits based on classical paintings too!

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:

Reference images of your pet.

Ensure that the photos are well-lit and at least one features a clear view of the pet and their markings. 

One front-facing photo is generally appreciated, as those allow me to get a good visual of the pet’s markings and face shape.

At least one painting to reference.

The number of references you send may vary depending on your vision for the overall piece. If you have one painting in particular you essentially want me to edit your pet into, feel free to send it and I will copy the composition and style to the best of my ability! 

NOTE: This painting must NOT be protected by copyright if you choose this option.

Works by artists who have been dead for 80 years or more are probably fine. Works by more recent or living artists in the style of Renaissance or classical paintings are most likely not.

If you want me to draw inspiration from preexisting art but not necessarily copy it, let me know and I can definitely do that too! (May come at an additional fee.) For commissioned works NOT directly copying the exact composition of another piece, feel free to send pieces by more recent artists!

OTHER THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

FOR NORMAL PET PORTRAITS: 

Larger paintings can accommodate more elements. If you want more than one subject or a complex background, larger sizes definitely work better.

FOR CLASSICAL-INSPIRED PET PORTRAITS: 

Only one animal subject per painting. 

Depending on the composition you have in mind, I CAN give the piece a simple background or some props though! (May add an additional charge.)
